Hambledon under-16s remain top of the South East Hants Indoor League after a convincing win over neighbours Purbrook this week.

After winning the toss, the young Dons scored 135 for three with Rory Prentice top scoring with 31 not out and Spencer Le-Clercq also retiring on 26.

In reply, Purbrook got to within 16 runs of their target - mainly due to some very wayward bowling from the Dons, who leaked 65 wides in Purbrook's final score of 119 for three.

Hambledon have won all four of their fixtures to date and are two points ahead of fellow unbeaten outfit Portsmouth.
