The club online shop is now open for business.

The new coloured kit and other items of clothing, including hoodies and beanies, can be purchased at 20% discount until the 3rd January 2017 only. After this date you will only be able to purchase clothing from the club kit shop at the full price.

All colts are playing in the new coloured kit next season. This is your opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price. Expected delivery date for all purchases is the end of April. The club will be happy to exchange any items if they are the wrong size when delivered. We do understand how quickly children can grow in a few months!

There’s a variety of kit to fit adults too, so pop along and see what takes your fancy...

Grant from EWCT and Waitrose - thank you!

Posted by Seb Duggan on

The club would like once again to thank the England and Wales Cricket Trust, supported by Waitrose, for the grant given under the 2016 Small Grant Scheme that provided Hambledon with the smart new set of pitch covers which have graced Ridge Meadow over the 2016 season.

Let’s just hope they require minimal use throughout the 2017 season!

All club members should make every effort to attend...

Sunday is end-of-season tidy-up day!

Posted by Seb Duggan on

Just a quick reminder to everyone that this Sunday (25 September) is the end-of-season clear-up session at the Ridge.

As always, there’s a bunch of jobs to be done - but the more volunteers we have, the less time it will take! So please come along at 10am on Sunday to lend a hand, and we’ll be done by noon at the latest... (If you’ve got a pair of work/gardening gloves, probably good to bring them along).

Fantasy League: Winners!

Posted by Seb Duggan on

And so the league season draws to a close, and with it the Fantasy League. We can therefore declare that this year’s winner is Kevin Wingham, by a convincing margin of 26 points. Well done Kevin: £75 is on its way to you!

Second and third place were hard-fought in the last few weeks. And on the final day, Rory Morris managed to leapfrog Prad Bains to tie for second place with George Harding - prize money will be split equally between Rory and George, £37.50 each.

Thanks to all who took part, and congratulations also to MVP for the season, Shane, well ahead of Lecky in 2nd place and Prad in 3rd.

Roll on next season and Fantasy League 2017!

Fantasy League: Week 17

Posted by Seb Duggan on

Just the one 1st XI match to go now to decide the 2016 Fantasy League, and it seems that Kevin Wingham has the top spot well and truly sewn up.

But there’s hot competition for second and third: George Harding and Prad Bains are currently tied in 2nd, with this week’s best team, Rory Morris, hot on their heels and only 5 points adrift. It will all boil down to the slight differences in 1st XI personnel in those teams to see who comes out on top...

MVP for this week was George Harding with 11 points, closely followed by Lecky and Wayne, each with 10 points.

A final reminder that if you still have transfers available, now would probably be a good time to get as many 1st-teamers in your squad as you can! Let Prad or Seb know before Saturday...
